Githuku Mwangi & Kabia (GMK) is a medium size firm of Certified Public Accountants with their offices in Westlands Nairobi. The firm was founded by a team of highly qualified and experienced professionals who sought to provide the East African businesses with an innovative and dynamic advisory partner.

Our solutions are based on our experience with clients in all sectors of business. We conduct all our assurance services in accordance with international standards on Auditing (ISA) and our advisory services in line with generally accepted standards and principles.

CPA GERALD GITHUKU

Partner, Tax Advisory Services

Gerald, who is our Tax partner, is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K) and a Holder of Master of Business Administration (MBA) - Strategic Management from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT). Also, a holder of a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Catholic University of Eastern Africa. He has over 20 years’ experience in taxation having served as a Senior Tax Manager at various firms.

CPA GEORGE MWANGI

Partner, Business Advisory

George is the Business Advisory Partner, he is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K) and a holder of a Masters in Business Administration (University of Nairobi) majoring in finance. He also holds a Bachelor of Education (Arts) degree from Moi University.

CPA PAUL KABIA

Partner , Audit & Assuarance

Paul is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K), an Associate Member of Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) and a holder of Bachelor of Commerce degree from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa and an currently pursuing a Master in Business Administration - Strathmore Business school. He is also a holder of Diploma in Education.

CPA SUSAN MUNGAI

Training Manager

Susan is a senior auditor & qualified accountant registered with ICPAK. She is a holder of a Bachelor of Business Management degree (Finance) from Moi University and ACCA diploma in International Financial Reporting (Dip IFR). She is currently pursuing a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) course. She has extensive accountancy & audit experience having been in the industry for over 8 years and is involved in training both internally as well as externally in these areas.

CPA PETER WAWERU

Audit Manager

Peter is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K) and a holder of Bachelor of Business Management (Finance and Banking) degree from Moi University. He is currently an MBA student at the University of Nairobi majoring in finance. He has over seven years of experience in Accountancy, Audit and Assurance and also Taxation. He is in charge of a clientele from different sectors of the economy.

TITUS MUNYAKA MUEMA

Tax Manager

Titus Munyaka Muema is an experienced tax professional with extensive knowledge on both direct and indirect taxes. He has successfully handled compliance and advisory assignments for clients in diverse industries. Key assignments undertaken includes; assisted KRA audits representations, objection to assessments, tax due diligence, tax health checks, tax planning, trainings amongst others. He holds a Bachelors of Commerce degree finance option from the University of Nairobi, Certified Public Accountants(K) and currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Tax and Customs Administration in Moi University/KRA.

CATHERINE WANJIKU

Administration Manager

Catherine Njoroge is a holder of bachelor of International Business Administration (Management) degree from United States International University Africa. She has over six years’ experience in administration, with organizational ability & problem solving skills, time management & communication skills.
